Description: The stream parallels the road and residential backyards throughout its length. It is a lively run with moving water. [Reported 1998]

Difficulties: Do not miss the take out, as the creek is walled in and private to the river below.

Shuttle: Put in at the Sewickley Creek Road Bridge at the junction with the North Branch in Pinehurst. To reach the take-out go downstream along the creek on Sewickley Road (State Route 4036) for about 3.7 miles where the road makes a 90-degree bend to the left. At this point turn right and cross the bridge. This is the take-out.

Gauge: None. It can be checked from the road.

Normal Wet Period: No available statistics on seasons. Since this section is tiny, it should normally be runnable only after a heavy rain or during spring snowmelt.
